International Routing, market leader of software for vehicle routing and optimization, reinforces its team by naming Daniel Verougstraete to CEO and Michel Waterschoot as the person in charge for Routing France. Whereas more and more companies choose to optimize their distribution costs with software solutions for vehicle planning and optimization, Daniel Verougstraete and Michel Waterschoot link their forces to take the control of the market and to give a fresh impulse to Routing International, leader both in Belgium and in France in this field.
A young promising CEO
Routing International engaged Daniel Verougstraete to become CEO of the group. Engineer in applied mathematics, specialized in the problems of optimization and operational research, Daniel Verougstraete also obtained a MBA at the INSEAD. Before entering to International Routing, Daniel already achieved a beautiful professional course: initially working 5 years in the field of the data-processing at `American System Management' and within its clean start-up `Consulting Premium', it then joined `The Boston Consulting Group' to carry out missions of consultance in company strategy. These various experiments enabled him to become director of the operations at OPENHR. There he was responsible for the teams of consultants on the Benelux countries, England and the United States and largely contributed to restore the profitability of the company and to ensure a fast growth. This young 33 years CEO takes today the reindeers of Routing International, with ideas and projects full the head.
