Routing International extends its coverage to the German market
Routing International, Independent Software Vendor specialized in Vehicle Route Planning optimization solutions, and Geoptima, German-based consulting company with many years experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have announced today their decision to jointly offer Routing International’s WinRoute product into the German market.
Georg Egger, CEO of Geoptima comes back on this decision: “For years, we had been focusing on what one calls the “high-density route optimization problems” which covers mainly waste management and postal services. The partnership with Routing International enables us to now offer our clients a complete range of market leading specialized solutions to answer both low- and high-density problems.”
Daniel Verougstraete, CEO of Routing International explains the company decision to partner with Geoptima: “It is strategic for Routing International to continue its international expansion. Initial contacts with prospects in Germany clearly showed that there is a need in markets such as Germany or Switzerland for a Vehicle Route Planning optimization product with the level of functionalities and power of WinRoute. What impressed us with Geoptima is their expertise in the field. They immediately grasped the key elements of our WinRoute product. Moreover both companies share the same ‘client partnership’ philosophy which was an important basis for our collaboration I am particularly confident about the benefits this partnership will bring to our both companies and our clients.”
Georg Egger explains why Geoptima decided to offer this product to its clients: “Contrary to Routing International, most companies on the market today do not really have a standard product but intensively rely on custom developments. We believe selecting standard software like WinRoute is the only way for our clients to get the adequate level of ‘future-proof’ guarantee and ensure they will continue benefiting from the fast-pace evolution such a solution is facing.”
WinRoute will be available in German language as of the end of September. Geoptima will also assume the support of the solution for the German-speaking markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Both companies have agreed on a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to be offered to their clients that they believe will further differentiate them from other actors on the market and stress their commitment to partner with their clients in order to ensure they effectively extract the promised value from their investment. Both companies have already started updating their web-sites and documentation to match this evolution.
According to Daniel Verougstraete, “the entry into the German market is a step in our international expansion strategy. It will surely not be the end of it. Discussions are ongoing to enter other markets in the short term”.
