International Routing presents WinRoute 6.1
at PROlogistics in September
Routing International just brought out the last version its software WinRoute, namely version 6.1. Since many years already, Routing International brings out several versions a year. These new versions integrate the experience on the field of the consultants and the increasingly pointed requests of the customers of the company.
With the launching of series 6 of its software for routing optimization, Routing International widens a little more the gap with its competitors. Version 6.0 available since the beginning of the year had already made it possible to improve ergonomics of the tool. This 6.0 version offered new functionalities in the fields of management:
- of the drivers,
- of cyclic plannings and the frequencies,
- of the compartments,
- of the breaks and the times of departure,
- of the constraints of the logistic chain and availability of the orders.
Integration above all…
Series 6 also opens completely particular possibilities to the level of the deployment of the tool in the company and its integration in the logistic chain. The version 6.1, which will be presented at PROlogistics at the end of September, will allow in particular:
- to integrate in a completely dynamic way with the principal solutions like ERP, TMS and board computers. This thanks to the new Import/Export interfaces which make it possible to manage exchanges of flat files but also of XML (eXtended Markup Language) files and to communicate on an automatic mode thanks to Web Services Interfaces.
- to work in multi-user mode: several users can work (or consult) simultaneously the same planning from their respective workstation.
- to deploy the tool on several machines (for example in various local centers) while keeping the installation and the maintenance of the software centralized and this thanks to the compatibility of the tool with environments like Citrix and Terminal Server.
This strong integration with the systems which underlie the various stages of the logistic chain is one of the strategic axes of the development of Routing International.
